The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPS) is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi, and was established in 2024 under the umbrella of Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM). It is dedicated to advancing healthcare and happiness for holistic societal development.
SPS offers diverse programs including B.Pharm, D.Pharm and PhD across 4 campuses at Bhubaneswar, Balasore, Balangir, and Rayagada — with the Vizianagaram campus serving Andhra Pradesh. Specialisations span Pharmaceutics, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacology, Regulatory Affairs, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
To be a globally recognised centre for Teaching, Research and Entrepreneurial Training in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and to provide Healthcare services for Societal needs.

10+2 in Science stream with 40% marks in PCM or PCB combination. Focused hands-on training for pharmacy practice and drug dispensing roles.
Master's degree in Pharmacy with GPAT / UGC NET qualification. Specialisations in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Industrial Pharmacy, and Regulatory Affairs.

Students learn through 14 labs (including 1 Advanced Analytical lab), gaining hands-on experience in drug manufacturing, drug analysis, and real-world drug use practices through health camps. Our well-equipped animal house and preclinical study facility prepare students with entrepreneurial and industry-relevant skills.
The B.Pharm, D.Pharm and PhD programs integrate with advanced and specialised laboratories to ensure applied and action-based learning — enabling students to gain hands-on experience and develop practical skills. These labs are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities focusing on research, innovation, and skill development in pharmaceutical and allied fields.

The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences offers PCI-approved skill-based courses aimed at equipping students with practical knowledge, entrepreneurial skills, and industry readiness in pharma sectors.
Designing and evaluating drug delivery systems to enhance bioavailability. Covers formulation of tablets, capsules, emulsions, and novel drug delivery systems to enhance employability in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Assessing and controlling contamination in manufacturing environments. Covers sterility testing, microbiological assays, and validation of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
Computer-aided drug design accelerates drug discovery and manufacturing processes. Covers molecular similarity, de novo design, pharmacophore modelling, molecular docking, and virtual screening — preparing students for roles in drug discovery, optimisation, and preclinical testing.
With 540+ research articles published in Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) indexed journals, including 100+ books and book chapters, the school actively contributes to advancements in preclinical drug research and targeted drug delivery systems.
