Aims and Scope

Aims and Scope

Centurion Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (CJMR) aims at:

  1. Providing a platform for debate and dissemination of research findings, conceptual developments and new research areas and techniques that promise to change analyses and perspectives on science and technology, development, management, skill in developing societies;
  2. Disseminating and promoting research, good practice and innovation in all aspects of science, technology, management and skill development to its main audiences, including educators, researchers, graduate students, policy makers, and practitioners; and Encouraging multi-disciplinary cooperation and understanding, and enhancing quality research.

CJMR is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal publishing novel scientific research in all fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Humanities, Agriculture, Management and Social Sciences. In addition to research articles from individuals or collectives, the journal publishes books, reviews and conference proceedings.

Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM) has a special focus on skill development and education, its recognition and promotion in the country, especially with the ‘Make in India’ initiative by the Government of India. In alignment to the vision of CUTM, the objective of the journal is to enhance the knowledge base as well as facilitate bringing together research-based contributions that have direct implications for the development of under-privileged communities and empowering them. To reach that goal the journal allows publication for free.

Centurion Journal of Multi-Disciplinary Research is a biannual peer reviewed and internationally reputed open access journal of the university. The journal is an attempt by the university to create a scope for researchers to contribute to the pool of knowledge in the areas of basic and applied research from various disciplines. Academicians, researchers, young scholars, thinkers and interested individuals are encouraged to publish their research works with us in engineering, technology, science, humanities, agriculture, management and social sciences.

School of Forensic Sciences

Overview:

School of Forensic Sciences under Centurion University of Technology and Management aims at creating much required experts in the field of investigative science with the application of advanced scientific techniques. The aim of the course is to develop a platform wherein various scientific means and methods are applied so that social justice can be brought about within our society.

It is not a hidden fact that the number of criminal cases over the world is on the rise and in most of these cases justice gets delayed due to lack of proper forensic proofs. One of the major causes is the shortage of an adequate number of forensic experts. School of Forensic Science is the one and only of its kind in eastern India to create young, dynamic, technically efficient experts in the field of investigative science. The School has entered into an academic collaboration with Gujarat Forensic Science University, the first and only university across the world dedicated to forensic science to provide quality education and infrastructure to its students with significant responsibility.

School Of Paramedics & Allied Health Sciences

Overview:

The School of Paramedics and Allied Health Sciences is dedicated to strengthening the workforce of the healthcare industry. The focus is on providing dedicated programs to empower all health sector staff (excluding the doctors) with knowledge and skills they need to excel in their respective specializations. It has technology programs in Optometry, MLT, Radiology Physiotherapy, Anaesthesia, Clinical Microbiology, and many more. Most equipments are sponsored by renowned companies, which include the leading French optical brand ‘Essilor’. The school implements a hands-on practice component for students through its 40+ hospital partnerships. They get to work with hospitals like Apollo Care, L. V. Eye Hospital, Vijaya Diagnostic, Vizag Eye Hospital (VISAKHA), etc., from the first year itself. In addition, some programs have a full one-year internship. The school also successfully runs its community diagnostic centers to help serve the nearby communities. Accredited by the Odisha Govt. (DMET) and Andhra Pradesh Govt., and having an impressive list of industry partnerships, The school assures placement at the end of the program.
