This course helps students with knowledge and skills required in their career as Anaesthesia and OT Technology’s – which is a very important role for allied healthcare professionals. Their main role is to assist Anaesthetists or surgeons before/during/after surgery. Anaesthesia Technology’s play a vital role in Intensive Care Units (ICUs), Emergency Wards, and Operation Theatres (OTs). Students are trained to operate anesthesia equipment, determine patient specific techniques, pharmacological agents and dosages, and monitor the condition of critically ill patients
Duration- 4 Years (8 Semesters) with a 12 -month internship in the year

Eligibility Criteria
+2 Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and/or Mathematics with minimum of 50% marks
- Anesthesia technologist in operating rooms in hospitals, surgical centers, ambulatory centers, emergency and trauma units.
- Pursue a career as a research assistant.
- Advance in the career by pursuing higher education in specialty areas like conscious sedation for dentistry, dialysis anesthesiology, physician assistant (anesthesia), pain management, invasive anesthetic techniques and medical technology.
