In today’s world, where crime is becoming more complex and technologically advanced, forensic science plays a vital role in the criminal justice system. This course is designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge of scientific methods used in crime investigation and evidence analysis. It integrates principles from biology, chemistry, physics, and law to examine and interpret physical evidence.

Students will learn key aspects such as crime scene investigation, identification, collection, preservation, and examination of evidence, along with maintaining the chain of custody. The course also covers various forensic disciplines including forensic biology, toxicology, ballistics, questioned documents, and digital forensics. Emphasis is given to laboratory techniques, analytical skills, and report writing to ensure accurate and reliable results.

The program develops critical thinking, attention to detail, and ethical responsibility required for handling sensitive criminal cases. It prepares students to assist law enforcement agencies, contribute to the justice system, and work effectively in forensic laboratories and field investigations.

Duration- 2 years program with 6 months Internship.
