In today’s rapidly evolving society, the nature of crime is becoming increasingly complex, involving not only physical evidence but also psychological aspects of offenders and victims. Understanding criminal behavior, motives, and mental processes has become essential for effective crime investigation and justice delivery. In this course, students will learn the application of psychology in the criminal justice system, including criminal profiling, assessment of offenders, victim psychology, interrogation techniques, and eyewitness testimony analysis.
The course also focuses on developing skills in psychological testing, behavioral analysis, deception detection, and report writing. Students will gain knowledge on handling sensitive cases with ethical responsibility, understanding mental health issues related to crime, and assisting law enforcement agencies in investigations. Through this program, students will acquire in-depth knowledge of forensic psychology and its role in crime analysis and prevention
