Dr. Pushpalatha G

Dr. Pushpalatha G., Dean, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Centurion University of
Technology & Management, Vizianagaram, AP. With over 15 years of multidisciplinary
professional specializations including teaching, research in agricultural biotechnology/sciences
and administrative experience in academic organizations, she has taken up the responsibility of
quality assurance of the university.
Presently, she is into institutional quality assurance management to prepare, monitor and guide the
faculty members, students, collaborators for quality based program and performance
improvement. In this direction, she has been playing key role at Centurion University for complete
monitoring and guidance of the data and documentation for NIRF and NAAC related self-study
reports.
She has been a lead in agriculture school with independent role in establishing the commercial
tissue culture center which is recognized and certified by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT),
Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India (GOI), agriculture students learningpractice laboratories establishment, protected cultivation facilities and organic farm set-up. As a
Principle Investigator (PI), she has carried out few DST-SERB projects on salt tolerance genomic
concepts in rice (SERB/TAR/2021/000258), Government of India. She has been an invited
Visiting Faculty to Graduate School of Agriculture, Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan. She has
been felicitated by many national organizations like Scientist Associate Award by Society for
Scientific Development in Agriculture and Technology (SSDAT) at Directorate of Rice Research,
Hyderabad. She has been an Invited Young Scientist with IRRI-PHILIPPINES Sponsorship’
to attend and present her doctoral research work at 4th International Rice Congress (IRC2014)
at Bangkok, Thailand. She has been recognized recently at RMIT, Bangkok for her contribution
in the field of agriculture. All her achievements at National/International platforms and
accomplishments are published in publications and many Books/Book chapters are into her credit.
